Marilyn and I are getting ready to go on our Irish adventure with Jim and Liz our good friends. The travel and accommodations are all booked and we are busy making our packing list so we don't forget anything.
We have our theme song "It's a long way to Tipperary" all cued up and we will practice the verses as we wait to begin our trip on Tuesday when we fly out!
Itinerary:
- Sep 17-20 Dublin: We plan to see the sights and drink in the history of the Irish capital. We also plan to visit Guinness and Jameson to drink in more than just history.
- Sep 20-23 Kildimo near Limerick: We plan to tour the south and southwest seeing The Ring of Kerry, the Dingle peninsula, Waterford and attend a medieval feast at a castle.
- Sep 23-27 Doocherry in Donegal: We plan to have our vacation from the vacation here in the quiet northwest seeing Londonderry, Giant's Causeway, and allowing Liz and me to check out our roots in Westport and Larne respectively.
